Action Team Volunteer Events
The Medtronic VSP Retiree Group strives to serve the community by organizing volunteer events for the membership. After carefully qualifying volunteer opportunities, regular Medtronic "Mission in Motion" Action Team Volunteer Events are organized. We urge alumni and retirees to volunteer for these events. Volunteer events are listed in the NEWSLETTERS
By volunteering as a VSP member, you not only provide a needed service to the community, you also meet and enjoy working with fellow Medtronic retirees. Volunteering doesn’t get any better.
In a typical year, we volunteer with some these organizations:
- Bridging
- Second Harvest Heartland
- Feed My Starving Children
- Medtronic American Red Cross Blood Drive
- The Food Group
- Catholic Charities Dorothy Day
- Special Olympics
- Project 6
- Project Warm Hearts
- Matter
- Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon
Please note, Medtronic retiree spouses/significant others are WELCOME to join us in all Action Team and other volunteer activities. Note also that members (and significant others) must register for all Action Team Volunteer Events. A Release Form must be signed at each volunteer event. To give suggestions regarding volunteer events, go to CONTACT US.
